Monolith - Steel River

Steel River is the cool tone in the Monolith range, a light to medium grey oak visual with a straight, even grain and minimal knotting. It reads modern and neutral rather than warm, closer to weathered stone or steel than to a traditional wood tone.

Steel River is built on Monolith's longboard WPC format, 60.23" x 7.16" x 7.5mm, with a rigid, fully waterproof composite core and a 1.5mm EVA pad already attached underneath. The core is fully waterproof and holds up to normal residential use without denting or compressing. It locks together with Uniclic, carries a Cathedral surface texture, and is GreenGuard Gold certified for low chemical emissions. Monolith's STC 71 and IIC 73 acoustic ratings measure how well the floor blocks airborne and impact sound from reaching the space below, a genuinely useful spec in condos, apartments, and shared wall buildings, where sound transfer is a real, practical concern rather than an afterthought.
