Monolith - Prairie Wood

Prairie Wood carries more visible character than the other light tones in the Monolith range. The base colour is a light, warm beige oak, but the grain includes small knots and mineral streaks scattered across the plank, giving it a natural, slightly rustic variation rather than a clean, uniform look.

Like the rest of the Monolith range, Prairie Wood is built on a longboard WPC format, 60.23" x 7.16" x 7.5mm, with a rigid, fully waterproof composite core and a 1.5mm EVA pad already attached underneath. The core is fully waterproof and stands up to everyday residential wear without denting or compressing. It locks together with Uniclic, carries a Cathedral surface texture, and is GreenGuard Gold certified. Monolith's STC 71 and IIC 73 acoustic ratings measure how well the floor assembly blocks airborne and impact sound from travelling to the space below, a real, practical consideration in condos, apartments, townhomes, and any shared wall or shared floor situation.

Where it works: Prairie Wood's rustic variation suits farmhouse style kitchens, mudrooms, and family rooms where a more natural, lived in look is the goal. It also holds up well in multi family settings, including condos and apartments, where the acoustic rating and waterproof core both matter.
